Rituals
Rituals can be learned three different ways. Before you may the ritual you must, of course, have the proper level of Rituals. From there the process is quite simple.
The Characters, that is student and Instructor take part in a learning session in which a Narrator or Storyteller is present. This will take 2 days per level to learn... and is subject to disapproval by the Storyteller/Narrator present if the RP is not sufficient.
Another method is 1 week per level to learn. This style takes into account though persons in the group who by me loners by nature, dislike local area Garou or whatever. The Player may request his learning of the rite. After the initial request is made the Storytellers will make an appointment with the player so that the role-playing of the scene can be performed. Depending on the role-play is what happens from there however as stated above it usually will end in the Character perfecting the rite in 1 week per level or the ritual.
The Third and final way to learn the Rite is instant purchase. This role-play must be handled by a Storyteller as it normally entails direct spirit intervention. This method is the fastest however costs 3 experience points per level of the ritual (a level 1 rite would cost 3 points and a level 5 rite would cost 15, of course as mentioned above you -must- have the ritual knowledge equal to the level of the rite you are tring to learn.)
The Rage of all Gaian Shifters now comes from the Wyld and this wild energy is a terror to all NON-SUPERNATURAL beings.
Story
The last blow of the Apocalypse fell thirteen days ago. The Great War of the Shifter was nothing short of glorious combat and, of course, the Heroes of the Shifters won. Yet victory seems to have come at a costly price. The price you ask? The lives of several tribes
Lost Tribes
Wendigo
Died in glorious combat, helping defeat the Wyrm. Evan Heals the Past was one of the last Wendigo to be seen and while other Wendigo bodies have been identified his remains undiscovered...
Get of Fenris
The Get knew the end was coming before the others. The giants rose as their stories said they would, and they attacked them. Many of the tribe went down in combat then. In the end, they banned together with the rest of the tribes, and went to face the Wyrm where it dwelt. Every single Get of Fenris died that day, their spirits going to Valhalla.
Shadow Lords
Traitors of the Garou the Shadow Lords fell by the tooth and claws of Shifter Kind. Without the Leadership of La'Margrave who himself joining the twelve other tribes in the Dire Rite a shadow lord by the name of Mishka Tovoceia -icka lead the Shadow Lords to there untimely end. There are a few surviving Lords of the Shadow left alive. Those few are distrusted, and may never again gain the respect of their fellow Garou.
Red Talons
More purer a tribe the World has yet to see and will never see again. The Red Talons fell first in the battle against the Wyrm their lack of knowledge, intolerance and inability to understand things human their ultimate downfall. The Red Talon tribal homeland remains however is an impenetrable domain of evernight.
Bone Gnawers
The Bone Gnawers as a tribe disappeared somewhere around the forming of the enigmatic and little known about Scab Walkers.
Glass Walkers
The Glass Walkers followed the Bone Gnawers in disappearing somewhere around the forming of the enigmatic and little known about Scab Walkers.
Thirteen Tribes rose up as one against the Wyrm and six, six of the thirteen tribes were vanished, destroyed utterly by the Wyrm, their glorious deed silent and unrecognized by the masses for lack of singers lips to give life to the tales of the Warriors of the Apocalypse.
Tribes Left
Black Furies
Black Furies- If any tribe has flourished from the Apocalypse it is the Black Furies, with their bound with nature and the Wyld and that face of the Triads sudden resurgence in power . Now the only "Warrior" Tribe left in the Nation the Furies are a force in this new darker world.
Children of Gaia
Children of Gaia- Well adjusted after the Apocalypse. The Children of Gaia have new direction for themselves and the other Tribes. The Children of Gaia were the first tribe to have a Shining One. An old tradition, the Shining One is the Totem Voice of the Tribe and often times Tribal Leader. New Children walked from the Apocalypse unharmed and claim to have been cradled in the bosom of the Earth Mother during the Apocalypse. During the War the Children where taught many secrets and learned much about what it was to be Garou. They go forth to spread that Knowledge.
Fianna
There is little that any can say of the Fianna except that they are welcome. Renown lore keepers of the Garou the Fianna fell along side their Totem and sometimes enemies the Get of Fenris in the Bloody Events which lead up to the Apocalypse. Now the scattered homeless Tribe walks the world content to tell their stories to those who will listen for beer, food and/or a warm place to stay.
Advantage
The Fianna are the cherished Lore-Keepers of yore and are respected by all Shifters as such. This ability gives them the effects of Pure Breed 2 to other Garou. This effect is added onto the Purebreed of Purebreed Fianna up to a maximum of Seven
Flaws
The Fianna are a tribe without a Totem, Homeland or true organization. The Tribe's gifts are passed from Fianna to Fianna and thus is a lengthy process. None of the Fianna's Tribal Rites work. Even the Umbral Homeland of the Fianna is a place of nightmares. The Dead plague the lands, skies and halls of even the smallest corners of the Realm.
Silent Striders
Silent Striders- After the Apocalypse and the destruction of Set and his Brood the Children of Anubus run fee along the desert sands once more. Allied with the Bubasti, potent sorcerers of the Bastet, the Striders have retaken their Home Lands and reformed the Golden Empire under however the cowl of the Weaver/Wyrm's night.
Silver Fangs
Silver Fangs- This Tribe of Kingship lead the Garou in the battle against the Wyrm well in the Apocalypse. The Tribe has been strengthen by Lord Albrect's rule. A woman, Lady Rowanne La'Mourgryss leads this Tribe through the scattered dust of destruction of the Wyrm
Stargazers
Stargazers- Primarily in the East. The Stargazer tribe is seen little outside of their Tribal Homeland of Tibet as there is rumor that the Tribe is being drawn into the dark plots of the Eastern Shifters known as Hengoiki.
Uktena
Uktena - Solemn last tribe of the original three of the Pure Lands, the Uktena are rarely seen outside of the Umbra or their Earth Bound Tribal Lands. The Garou bearers of Magic are sought out for their knowledge of things Spirit and the Power that they have over Reality.
