Leadership:

Leadership is handled in a different way in the Klukwalle than in other Garou packs. Each auspice has it's office, and the leaders are expected to recruit and train new members of that auspice with care. They are also expected to show a good example, act well and honorably, and epitomize their auspice. The offices are as follows:

The Wild Man:

The wild man is always a Ragabash, and is responsible for showing others the folly of their ways. A wise Wild Man will always remember to do this in a respectful manner, or suffer dire consequences. The Wild Man is seen as a wild and uncontrollable force, unpredictable and unreliable. This position will not have very many responsibilities attatched to it, as the other members have learned that the Wild Man tends to be unpredictable, and will try not to rely on him/her. They do recognize, however, the need for this position. Notable Wild Men include Leaps-In-Grass and Wise-Eyes-Narrow-Mouth.

The Spirit Chief:

The Spirit Chief is always a Theurge. Her responsibility is to ensure that the spirits are pleased by the packs actions, and to listen to and report omens and such. Spirit Chiefs have a reputation for being a bit strange, even among the Klukwalle. They are, however, greatly respected for their connection to the spirit world, as well as their ability to heal. There is a great tradition of Spirit Chiefs, including The-Song-The-Rain- Sings, who was lost in battle in Siberia, shortly before the beginning of the apocalypse, and Beats-The-Drum-For- Raven, who reportedly found Raven herself, and convinced the spirit-bird to teach her some secrets, at a price. Beats-The-Drum-For-Raven was required to remain in the Umbra, and beat a drum for Raven, so he could dance, for as long as he pleased. She drummed for seven nights and seven days, and returned to her tribe and pack with the knowledge.

The Peace Chief:

The Peace Chief is always a Philodox, and is the leader in times of peace, without question. His responsibility is to judge and interpret the laws, and among the pack, his word is the last. Should a Peace Chief act in a dishonorable fashion, punnishment would follow, and challenges would be held for the next Peace Chief. He acts as Master of Challenge for pack matters, and is responsible for ensuring that the pack survives on, even when many of it's members have been killed.

The Wolf Singer:

As the traditional Klukwalle were taught the ways of the warrior by the Wolf Spirit, so will the Wolf Singer pass on her knowledge of the traditional songs and stories of the people. She is responsible for teaching songs and dances, and is the keeper of the sacred Tse'ka songs. Wolf Singers have been known to go among the Kinfolk to re-teach the ways. Many of the rites of the Klukwalle pack are kept and led by the Wolf Singer. Becasue of the pack's devotion to maintaining the old ways, Wolf Singer is often also Beta.

The War Chief:

This postion is always held by an Ahroun. He is the embodiment of the Wolf Spirit, and is the one who goes first into battle. The War Chief is the undisputed Alpha during times of war, He is often held responsible for protecting those who are too young or weak to fight (though these are few among the Klukwalle), and for teaching the ways of battle to the new members, as well making sure that the pack as a whole is ready for battle. The War Chief is expected to undergo the rite "Recieving the Wolf-Spirit" at least once during his life. The last War Chief of the Klukwalle was one named "Strength-Of-Wolves", and was a fierce warrior. He tore many a throat from the Wyrm, and is reported to have killed at least a hundred leeches in his campaign.

Each of these positions is considered a great honor, as they are the best of the best. Anyone holding one of these positions is expected to teach those of the same auspice. NOTE: Acting out of one's Auspice is considered dishonorable among the Klukwalle, a leftover from when the Klukwalle was a strictly Wendigo pack.
