"Klukwalle. It means "special treasures", loosely translated to your language, but it means so much more than this. From the time when Ha-sass went to the Wolves in search of the Death-Bringer, our people, the changing ones and the ones who don't change, have had a relationship with the spirits around us. We gain powers and gifts from them, and the debt we owe the manitous, spirit-people, is great."

-Sarah Where-Earth-Meets-Water Redbird.

The Klukwalle are a pack of elite members of the Pure Tribes. Once exclusively Wendigo, the pack has been reduced to a rag-tag handful of assorted Uktena and Ronin Garou since Wendigo's sacrifice. Acutely aware of the disparity between it's current state and it's glorious past, the Klukwalle now step up to their task of warriors and lore keepers of the Pure Ones. The legacy of the pack extends into the past, back to the time of contact on the West Coast of North America, and the pack has, in it's more prosperous moments, numbered more than forty.

No matter the number, the Klukwalle has always been guided by five offices, dictated by auspice. The most exemplary of each auspice would be chosen through a series of challenges for each office. The ranking Ahroun would be the War chief, leader in times of strife, the fairest and wisest philodox would be named Peace chief, arbitrator and leader during periods of peace. The Wolf-Dancer is the greatest lore-keeper, and has the hefty task of ensuring that the old ways carry through. The Spirit Chief is the most powerful Angulkuk of the pack, and is to watch most vigilantly for signs and omens from the spirit-people. And the Wild Man, the highest ranking trickster, is there to prevent rigidity of thought, and to show paths previously unseen.

The pack, reduced by the sacrifice of the Wendigo to one sole member, has been trying to climb back to it's former glory, initiating new members and passing the stories and rites of the People as quickly as they can. There is some question about what this world transformed holds for the pack, but whatever lies ahead, they will face it with the bravery and wisdom of their Totem Spirit, Orca.
