Sunday, April 25, 1999Hello, again, kids. This is your loyal slave and webmistress writing HTML for a game I don't even play in anymore. Anyone interested should contact me about taking over the SPRAL webmaster position via e-mail. In other news, amidst the furor created my the Trenchcoat Mafia shooting in Denver, people are still gaming. The unfortunate thing is, I'm not getting very many character histories in for the End Horizon pages. Take pride in your characters, gosh darnit, and show them off. I've got 20 megs of space here, and the current SPRAL page is only taking up 2.7 of them. Help me fill the rest up, people. The newest character entries to hit the server are Erik McCullough, who almost dethroned Morgan for longest character entry thus far, and Kim Dauer, who takes the cake for the shortest character entry... even shorter than Rowan from the last continuity. Anyway, I'm waiting to hear from you guys. Saturday, February 21, 1999The site is back up, following a hardware failure at fortunecity, which resulted in the loss of this entire site. I'm rebuilding it from a set of outdated back ups, so there will be some bugs and mistakes, and I ask that anyone encountering these report them to me immediately. The sooner I find 'em, the sooner I can fix 'em. Alright, the new continuity has begun, with Nathan Rahn as storyteller. The End Horizon wing has been added to the site, so all you players should check it out. The space there for character entries is still pretty empty, so anyone with character entries should e-mail them to me at [email protected]. Remember, I can't make this site kick without your contributiuons. Anyone in a pack can ask for a pack page... I can still try to swing 'em, even though, since my relocation, my graphics editing capabilities are limited. Saturday, October 17, 1998Okay, the werewolf game is over, and Nathan Rahn will be storytelling the next game, shaking things up a bit with his post-apocalypse plot. This plot has been a rather contraversial one among SPRAL members, but I highly reccomend that you get in touch with Kat Lehto. She will be able to give you some details and specifics of the plot, and maybe clear things up a bit. Nathan is now accepting character concepts for approval, but he is in Saudi, so for more information on contacting Nathan, again, get in touch with Kat. On the other side of the coin, Nathan won't be stateside for a while yet, hopefully arriving in December. Until then, we do still have the Vampire game, and a wide variety of SPRAL-sponsored table-top games to choose from, so you needn't miss out. Also, in order to pass the time, former Narrator Michael Drennan is considering running a short plot involving the characters from Gavin's continuity. Again, for more information, get ahold of Mike at [email protected]. Sounds like alot of fun to me. As soon as you character is approved, I'm accepting entries for the new game. Monday, October 12, 1998Well, that's it, the end of the Werewolf game. The next game could go a variet of ways, with Alex Williams and Nathan Rahn still in comptetition for the title of Storyteller. There are alot of facters that one needs to consider in this, but I will spare you my thoughts here, and relegate such discussion to the message boards. Before the end of the world, Adrianna "One Wing" O'Brien was inducted as the first ass-kicking Corax Street Knight. I have been informed that there will at some point be changes to both Adrianna's character entry and her name. The Adrianna page has already been moved to the Street Knight page. Wednesday, October 7, 1998 Allright, all problems should now be fixed, and all pages should be available. Thanks for bearing with me, all of you. Any further problems should be reported via e-mail or passenger pigeon to me. Tuesday, October 6, 1998Allright... Some of the pages are still down, but should be up soon. The Street Knights page, for instance, has been inaccessible for two days, which is a damn shame, because I think that the new graphics I made up for it are pretty slick. On a happier note, the S.P.R.A.L. "Old Guard" page is now up and running, with it's first character entry, that of Day Markham. I hope all of you old folks will follow suite. After all, in order to make this a site that all of S.P.R.A.L. can take pride in, we all must contribute... or maybe I should just make up the character histories as I go along... hmmm. That sounds like alot of fun. The rumor board is back! However, I accidentally deleted all the rumors. I posted two for starting the new board, but something intrigued me. Whoever responded to "Chase's Kid" under "The Guy Who Knows Alot" can feel free to do so again... that's one I didn't get to read before my errant clicking eradicated it. Sunday, October 4, 1998Well, it's good to be back. After a massive power outage, one of Fortunecity's data storage units (or something) was down, and the page may not have been accessible for some time yesterday. Anyway, I've made a few changes. First of all, due to the sheer volume of character quotes I've recieved, and due to their length (Joe, I'm looking in your direction), I've been forced to divide them into two pages. Don't worry when the list seems shorter, I would never slaughter your beautiful quotes. Also, due to the fact that some of my graphics files got messed up, and due to the fact that I was bored yesterday, I redid some of the graphics on the page. It's something that I've been meaning to do for quite some time, but the trial version of Paint Shop Pro timed out, and I just recently got another program. Any critique on the new graphics scheme is welcome, but I think they look better than the last ones... simpler, cleaner. Enjoy. Monday, September 28, 1998Well, I just recieved the satisfying experience of going through the character rosters and placing the word "deceased" in big red letters next to character names. Yay. Speaking of dead things, I have the page for old guard characters all planned, and I've custom made some graphics for it, even, so any time people want to start giving me old guard stuff, I'm ready for it. For more information, contact Tina. She's the madness behind my method. On a more selfish note... my table top Werewolf game is finally going to start! Yippie! I think, since it is a city campaign, that I shall name it "Strange Things Are Afoot at the Circle K", not because it has anything to do with feet or convenience stores...it's just a quote from one of my favorite movies of all time, and this will give me a chance to say it ALL THE TIME! The table top page is up... go check it out, SPRALers. I think that's all I've got for you tonight, kids. Enjoy. Tuesday, Septemper 22, 1998With the starting of the new quarter at Western Washington comes Western's info fair. This time, SPRAL got a table and has been advertising on campus, so we can all expect some new players fairly soon. The lovely Kat Lehto and Holly Zehnder collected a stunning fourteen names of possible newbies. The new blood, especially since they're college age, wil help jolt SPRAL out of this frightening lull we've hit. Congatulate Holly and Kat on their hard work. On the same note, a part of this upcomming SPRAL rennaisance is the fact that we will be branching out into table top gaming soon. Part of the reason for this is that table top (as I've been saying for ages) is where new gamers are supposed to start. Live action Werewolf should not be someone's first roleplaying experience. Anyway, the point is, I'll soon be adding a place to advertise and coordinate SPRAL sponsored table top games. | |
